If you can’t hear it, the sample used starts at about 3 seconds into the Monty Python clip. Some got vocals such as Pollyanna, The Eight Melodies, and Bein Friends. Mother 1 for the famicom got a soundtrack release for a lot of the tracks in the game. (Even then, the only reason Ness and Lucas are still in Smash is probably just because Ness and Lucas players would freak out if they were taken away. Iirc it comes from a special version of the Earthbound Soundtrack. Much like Capcom and Megaman, Nintendo completely ignores EB/Mother outside Smash. 1 are the same 😛 Here’s the Jackie Cafe music with all the other channels turned off: Sadly, there is no chance of an Earthbound/Mother theme being made. It’s one of those things that once you notice it, you can’t unnotice it, kind of like how the bushes and clouds in Super Mario Bros. The Star Spangled Banner is in the Jackie Cafe music too! I never realized it for years. Here’s the Little Rascals song in case you’re not familiar with it: First, the Little Rascals song is mixed in.

I could never put my finger on it, but then after a MOTHER 1+2 interview with the game’s musicians, I was like, aha!
I always felt that the music in Jackie’s Cafe was really strange.
